Ready to GO!
There are two important things you have to put in place. Firstly is to appoint an Estate Agent and secondly a Solicitor, just in case you receive an offer right away.
Once your Estate Agent is in place, they will organise a suitable surveyor to come out to your home in order to carry out a survey.
The next stage is to get all the marketing materials prepared which includes measuring up, taking the particulars (describing your home) and photographs. All of this will then be put together for advertising on the property websites, schedules and/or newspapers. Some of these advertising tools may not be included as standard by your Estate Agent and will be in addition to the marketing fee.
Since “pictures speak louder than words” and is the main feature of the advertising, it is crucial that your home looks as appealing as possible to prospective buyers.
